Country Thunder (2017)

Lawrence and Sam are jobless, hopeless, and about to be homeless. Sam has an idea after watching Johnnie (a good ol' boy) snag a record deal from singing karaoke - they too are going to become country music stars. Lawrence, ever the pragmatist, would rather get a real job and in the act of, meets and falls head over heels for a girl named Paris. After he fallaciously tells her he's half of a successful country music duo, he must go along with Sam's insane plan in hopes of getting the girl - and just maybe find fame and fortune in the process.
