After watching her life slip into a downward spiral of drug addiction ending with an attempted suicide, Hannah Miller turned herself around and started a new life as a minister. At the same time, she still must care for her two kids, a young son who has embraced his mother's new life cheerfully, and declared agnostic daughter who has not. Additional complications come from her church's Deacon Sutherland, who opposed Miller's hiring.

Amazing Grace (American TV series)

Amazing Grace is an American drama television series created by Deborah Jones. The series stars Patty Duke, Joe Spano, Lorraine Toussaint, Robin Gammell, Marguerite Moreau, Justin Garms, Gavin Harrison and Dan Lauria. The series aired on NBC from April 1, 1995, to September 16, 1995. Shot on location in Duke's adopted hometown of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, the series featured Duke as a newly ordained minister who had experienced addiction to painkillers.
